Hong Kong to Darwin

Darwin
Darwin, the capital of Australia's Northern Territory, is a thriving and prosperous city with lively bars and a wide-ranging cosmopolitan cuisine. This is the gateway to the Top End outback natural wonders of world heritage listed Kakadu National Park, Litchfield National Park and Nitmiluk National Park. Darwin is the most multicultural city in Australia and, thanks to the warm climate, an outdoor lifestyle is enjoyed year round at open-air cinemas, beachside markets, pool and restaurant precincts.
Kakadu National Park
Kakadu National Park in Australia's Top End is one of a small group of double world heritage listed national parks in the world, acknowledged for both its spectacular natural landscape and its cultural history. Departing from your base in Darwin, within three hours you will find yourself on billabongs bursting with wildlife, admiring ancient rock art paintings or swimming waterholes at the bottom of tumbling waterfalls. This is one of the true natural wonders of the world and a once in a lifetime experience.
Katherine & Nitmiluk Gorge
To the south of Darwin and Kakadu lies the town of Katherine and the nearby Nitmiluk National Park - home to the spectacular Katherine Gorge. Head out on a boat ride to explore some of 13 spectacular sections of the Gorge that have been carved out over thousands of years by the Katherine River. If you have a bit more time to spare, stay a night in the accommodation available next to the gorge or in the town of Katherine and spend some time hiking the many trails around Nitmiluk National Park to see more of the landscape.
