ZUJI and PHAB celebrate Christmas with a Festive Gathering
ZUJI exclusively sponsors CSR event to bring holiday cheer to disabled people
Hong Kong – December 19, 2014 – It’s easy at Christmas to get wrapped up in office parties, lunches with friends and opening presents, but it’s important to remember that ‘giving’ is just as important as ‘receiving’. For this very reason, ZUJI joined hands with the Hong Kong PHAB (Physically Handicapped and Able-Bodied) Association to host a fun-filled Christmas event for promoting the social integration of people with and without disabilities.
The event, which ZUJI sponsored exclusively, took place on Saturday, 13th December, 2014. The participants bonded over a series of ice-breaking games before enjoying a Christmas gift presentation curated by ZUJI which sought to improve social skills and allow individuals to discover their creativity. After a fun-filled day, the group visited the Tsim Sha Tsui harbour front to see the impressive illuminated Christmas decorations in the evening.
ZUJI has an on-going mission to enable travellers to create their own path for their journey. Charlie Wong, Chief Executive Officer of ZUJI commented that, “As one of the leading online travel agencies, we believe in staying close to the local society to understand more fully the needs of Hong Kong people. We hope the members of PHAB can also create their own lifelong journey.” Aside from being nominated by PHAB as a “Caring Company” (2012-2014), ZUJI is eager to honour its corporate social responsibility with no hesitation, whenever a need arises from the public. This getaway day trip was a joyful occasion that has given everyone a chance to get a taste of travelling in Hong Kong.
